Rooms: HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS SINGAPORE CLARKE QUAY
As usual, Holiday Inn Express properties only come with 1 room category, so we don’t have many options. The good thing is we can select the view; we got the room with the beautiful Singapore city view.
We found the rooms to be well-equipped and comfortable. All rooms in the hotel are non-smoking and feature floor-to-ceiling windows that offer plenty of natural light.
The private bathroom was clean and well-maintained. One feature we liked was the sliding wall of the bathroom that opens to the bedroom area.
We had access to Wi-Fi throughout the hotel to stay connected, ensuring we could easily keep in touch with friends and look up local attractions.
Our rooms had air conditioning to keep us comfortable during the tropical Singapore climate.
Additionally, we enjoyed watching television on the LED TV provided in the room for some relaxation after a long day of sightseeing.

Swimming Pool
We thoroughly enjoyed not one but two whirlpools and a stunning 40-metre rooftop swimming pool that overlooks Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay during our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay.
This impressive feature boasts an outdoor infinity pool, providing a stunning view of the Singapore skyline. It was the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate after a long day.
Oh yes, we almost missed the unique design of this pool: It is a transparent concept. Look at the image below. 🤣
Fitness Center
We also took advantage of the 24-hour fitness center located on the rooftop. It was well-equipped with modern workout machines and equipment, catering to our fitness needs during our stay.
To top it off, the view from the rooftop fitness center was an excellent motivator for our morning exercise routine.
Rooftop Deck with A View
The rooftop deck at the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay is a multipurpose space, for example, a scheduled Yoga session or chill with a view.
Parking
During our stay, we had access to parking facilities at the hotel. The parking area was secure and spacious, accommodating our vehicle with ease.
The parking service added convenience to our stay, as we could explore Singapore without worrying about our car’s safety.

the staff was super friendly, the hotel it self looked beautiful and was super clean and well designed, the breakfast was for long hours and delicious with many options, the star of it all was the rooftop swimming pool with a great view and a jacuzzi to add to this 🙂 can only recommend!!

Their Express Start Breakfast is a buffet-style meal that offers a variety of options for different tastes and preferences. The breakfast buffet contained a nice mix of Western and Asian dishes, ensuring everyone had something they would enjoy.
We appreciated the quality of the coffee and tea provided, which were perfect for starting our day. Hot coffee, tea, and fruit juices were available to quench our thirst while we enjoyed the wide selection of food items.
The Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay’s breakfast area is on the ground floor and features both indoor and outdoor seating.
The indoor seating area is air-conditioned and comfortable, while the outdoor seating area provides a pleasant atmosphere for guests to enjoy breakfast.
The outdoor seating area is covered and shaded, making it an excellent option for guests who prefer to dine al fresco.
Great Room Bar
During our downtime at the hotel, we discovered they also have a comfortable and cozy Great Room Bar.
This casual space offered a variety of drinks and snacks for guests to enjoy while relaxing with friends or unwinding after a long day of exploring the city. The bar’s atmosphere was inviting, with a mix of seating options, including comfortable lounge chairs and bar stools.

Perfect location, 10 min walk to Fort Canning MRT. 15 min walk to Robertson Quay restaurant precinct, 15 min walk Clarke Quay Mall and 20 min walk to Chinatown.

We arrived late evening and were greeted by welcoming staff. Thank you Benjamin and Stephanie. Our room was nicely styled, very clean, compact and comfortable for our short stay. Floor to ceiling window gave our top floor city view room the wow factor. Large roof terrace with panoramic views, three areas of sun lounges, a fishtank style lap pool and gym. Ground floor bar area also has outside area to gather with friends for a drink and a meal. Cafe had good selection of light meals and was run by efficient staff. Lots of capable and friendly staff on hand to ensure breakfast ran smoothly. Nice touch to have slight daily menu changes. Liked their ‘express yourself’ uniforms. Would definitely stay here again.
