Getting around Sentosa Island and exploring its pristine beaches couldn’t be easier or more convenient!

The internal transportation network, consisting of comfortable buses and beach trams, made our journey between the beaches smooth and hassle-free. The best part?

The Sentosa Express, Sentosa Bus, and Beach Shuttle are all free to use on the island!

We first took the MRT to HarbourFront Station to kickstart our beach-hopping adventure.

It’s a short walk through VivoCity Mall to get to the Sentosa Express ticketing office.

After getting our tickets, we hopped on the train to Beach Station, where we found convenient connections to all three main beaches on Sentosa Island: Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach, and Tanjong Beach.

The Beach Shuttle or Beach Tram is an absolute godsend for beach lovers like us!

Best Time to Visit

When planning our trip to Sentosa Island’s beautiful beaches, we found that the best time to visit is during the weekdays when the crowds are lesser.

Based on our experience in Singapore, the best time to visit Sentosa Island beaches in Singapore is from January to August. The weather during this period is warm, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

However, May and June are slightly hotter and more humid than other months of the year.

December is the wettest month, with several heavy rain spells.

But it’s always a good idea to prepare by checking the weather forecast before leaving for the beaches.

Singapore is usually warm and humid, so we dressed lightly and comfortably during our beach visit.
